Ninjas and Samurai once fought as brothers against foreign invaders — shadow cunning and steadfast courage, an unstoppable force. Victory freed the land, but a single question fractured it forever: how should it be ruled?
The Schism
The Samurai, under Daimyo Takeda Nobumasa, chose order, honor and the Seven Codes of Bushido — castles, hierarchy, visible power. The Shinobi, guided by the enigmatic Master Tengu, saw codes as chains and chose adaptability, cunning and freedom, retreating to hidden villages.
The Silent War
For 250 years no war was declared, yet the factions fought constantly — legendary duels, political intrigue and shifting alliances beneath a fragile peace.
The Blood Moon Incident
On the night of the Blood Moon Eclipse, the neutral peace grounds of Akatsuki Temple were attacked. Three hundred warriors of both sides fell. Each blamed the other; the evidence was contradictory. The truth is still unknown — but the result was open warfare.
The Great War
Fifty years of brutal conflict, and neither side could claim total victory. The war continues — and now the clash of Ki and Resolve is settled card by card, blade by blade.
The Ninja Clans
